In my country the contact with your teacher is restriced to follow her classes and take the course's tests.

I ask 2 teachers who taught me , and where I got very good grades, but today I got the rec's back, and they both only write 2/3 sentences. At school there're no scuh thing as EC that you can do, and so they can't write about... They don't know me very well, although they taught me 2/3 years, but this is because the system restricts us to only follow her lesson.

help!! me what must I do know....
Ask another teacher??? This is really gonna kill me at the adcoms...

thank you thank you...
You know, I could cry at the moment I received those recs...
So I have to let someone write those letters (who do you suggest... someone I know, or someone from school???) and after that I can let my teachers sign???

you should have like a resume or sth that you can give your teacher who is writin your recs. the resume makes it a lot easier for the teacher as it gives him/her sth to write about. also, you should talk to him/her about yourself - your main qualities that you think s/he should highlight, what other stuff do you think s/he should include. especially students who don't think their teachers know them too well should make it a point to have a discussion before the recs are written. make it as simple for the teachers as possible.

the teacher will then be more comfortable writing a longer rec. however, if you teacher is absolutey not going to write beyond 2 or 3 sentences than your situation is difficult. but i doubt teachers are like that.

in any case, if you write both the recs yourself, there is a chance the adcoms will notice the similarity in writing style/lang/structure etc. between the recs and your essays. unless the adcoms know about your special circumstance, they'll not be very pleased about this.

I included a resume and put a lot of thing on it...
but thing is that teachers here dont really concern what youre gonna do after highschool and are very lazy...
I have to note that writing recommendations here is not common, and lot of times, when teachers have to write recs they only put down few sentences stating that they are backing the students application

Exactly there are teachers like that....and i suggest dont write reco. yourself.......get from some1 u know...... If u hav to write it......get an extrenal reedit it..to change the language..or checkto see writing styles vary...

get a peer recommendation otherwise (preferably from someone who is close and has good english)... then you can give it to your teacher for approval. might work out... it's at least better than writing your own recs in my opinion.

first tell the teacher all abt the reco.......and then tell that it is kid of sp. that we are not acquanted with....It shud by ppl who know close.....since indian system is difff.so got it written by someone close.give a copy.....Rest the person with understand......and tell to include her/his name......
Cool.if it is not working.....try assuring the teacher over its benefits.and ur application..

sorry if i made u confused...i write a lot of abbreviations and hav probabaly skipped a few alphabets in this forum..... anyways..what i menat was that make the teacher understand the complexity of the situation ... tell her that the system of application is US is diff. and recomendation letter may not mean the same as they sound...... So a person who knows u close will write a better reco. than a teacher in Indian School...convince if u can./..
