recommendations disaster

I started by getting a rec from my English teacher. That was fine.
But then I realized that I'm applying to Engineering programs, and therefore I should probably get a math/science teacher.

So I asked my calc/physics teacher (its a combined course) to write me a rec.
Then I realized that even though I had gotten an A or an A+ on each test, the class is first thing in the morning, so I'm not the most engaged person in the class, although I do wake up about mid-way through the period

So in a long discussion with my college counseler, she recommended getting another rec
And I asked my theatrical design teacher to write me yet another rec, because he has had me twice in a class (albeit an art class) and I talk to and see him almost every day because I'm super involved in backstage theatre work.

The school I'm applying to ED only wants one rec, and I'm giving them three.

Is this going to really hurt my chances?

bump! someone please help me here!

Actually, I had a similar problem, without the whole morning thing. I needed a science teacher and that made me have 3 recs. My school recommends 2, but I called yesterday and they said they don’t mid 3 at all. Generally 5 or 6 is when they start to get p"ode.
