Hi, i will be taking math 2 very soon but i want to find a book that contains EVERYTHING i need to know. Are there any good books or websites that can help me because i'm absolutely terrible!

hmmm, i used barron's and mcgraw hill. i though barron's was REALLY hard and i kept on failing the practice tests (500 or so), but the mcgraw hill i scored around 750+, and on the actual test, it turns out that barron's over prepares you and puts too much emphasis on little stuff. but read the lessons anyway, that's what really helps you improve, not just doing practice.

i got a 730 btw.

i used princeton review to get a 790. i thought it was most similar to the actual test. didnt like kaplan or barrons

the way I studied
1. previously took precalc.
2. Barrons, took only the test. I got 10-14 wrong at first.
3. In Barrons, studied my weak areas by referring to the parts of the book.
4. Review 'functions' chapter especially well and learn all the little tricks
5. Got 2-5 wrong on Barrons on my later practice tests.
6. Bought McgrawHill, took tests, got 0-2 wrong
7. Took SATII, 800

Get Barrons if you wan't a 800 guranteed

i honestly think barrons is crap. i reviewed the whole book before the test and got 690. second time retook cold (seriously just decided at the test center i was going to take it) and got 740. not saying 740 is good, but ironic how i study the barrons and get a 690 while i dont study at all and get a better score.

Does it matter what year or edition it is???

I have the 7th edition (2003) version..does it really matter? i mean i know math hasn't changed but maybe the test has?????

Read through all the chapters in Barrons..Then read through princeton review chapters..then do PR tests and the real subject test..this got me 800

do princeton, kaplan and sparknotes. barrons tests are unrealistic.
