<p>It’s quite possible that your Representative as a matter of policy does not provide recommendation letters for students who have not worked for him/her. You should call his office and find out. Perhaps this isn’t even an issue.</p>
<p>MommaJ: Actually, in my experience, elected officials rubber stamp those commendation letters and hand those out like halloween candy – keeps up the “good feelings” among the electorate (like Caliboy’s dad). Cuz most of them don’t realize how worthless they are nor how easily generated they are by low level staffers.</p>
