My mentor printed out two copies of his recommendation for Dartmouth and Haverford (because they would only accept two recs online). They aren't on official letterhead, but I already mailed them. Should I re-mail them, once winter break is over? They will be a little late, but it's an excellent rec that I want the colleges to read. Will they disregard letters not on school letterhead?

Schools care about the content of the letters, not whether they were on official letterhead. If the schools question whether the letters were forged, they’ll contact the sender. They won’t just toss out the reccs.

This is a supp rec too, and I’ve heard that supp rec regulations aren’t so strict. [e.g. that they don’t need to be confidential] You’re good to go

Thanks, and happy holidays!
