Hi.
At the end of this year I requested two recs from my AP bio and Ap USH teachers which was good because they know me well and most colleges ask for a rec from a science/math and humanities teachers. However, some people are also requesting recs from other teachers like band instructors, elective teachers, et cetera. Would it be worth it to submit another rec along with the other two from my gifted class teacher. She knows me very well, and would write a good rec, but is an extra recommendation really worth it?
Thanks

Unless your college allows supplemental recs/wants them, I wouldn't get another. You may come across as desperate or that you have something to hide that you hope the recs will cover up. And you don't want that. ;)

well... look on the other side of this spectrum.... getting another recommendation from another teacher that has something to say about you different... for example... you might be with them in another setting... then you should get one for sure.

ie..... if you took classes in a college for a summer... then get a recommendation from him/her... since you were in a diff. enviornment..

In general, adcoms would say that they have enough to read.
