<p>Hey guys, I just have a quick question about the Common App. Under recommendations I get the message "started" instead of "submitted" even though both my teacher and my counselor insist that they have fully completed and submitted their recommendations. However, my other teacher recommendation (which was done almost 2 months ago) reads "submitted" just like it should. The two that read "started" were completed within the last week or so. Is this a known glitch with the system? Another worry of mine is that my teacher and counselor are doing something wrong as in both cases it is the first time they have used Common App. I have indeed contacted Common App for help about this but they have yet to respond. It would be nice to get some enlightenment about whether other people are experiencing this problem as well from all you wonderful people on this forum :)</p>
<p>Are they sure they submitted it? They might have just entered the recommendations onto common app, but not submitted. Ask if they had to give their signature and check the agreements and stuff.<br>
If you’re sure they did submit their recommendation, I would suggest you ask them to contact common app themselves. It might be a more direct approach.</p>
