Recommendations + Supplementals...

Ok, so I'm just wondering what seems like a DECENT amount? So that the admissions officers don't DIE! ;)

Recommendations: 2 required
Supplementals: 0 required...

If I send 2 recommendations, and 2 supplementals, is that too much? Or would that be ok? Is it better if I just got 1 supplemental? -_- sobs

I'm kind of in a predicament. The thing is...I'll be working in a Lab this summer, so I want the professor to write a supplemental for me (given I don't fail...which I don't think will happen), but I also have my speech and debate coach, who knows me AMAZINGLY well...

So, I REALLY want to get 2 supplementals...so, too much?

How much are you going to or did you send?

i think at most 1 supp. giving in more won't make a difference in how you are seen, with 3 i think the adcoms get the idea. and i'm guessing teachers matter more (i mean, strictly speaking from the adcom point of view, unless there is some special circumstance).

always keep in mind that there has to be something to judge Everyone on (i.e. - SAT's) so the teacher recs will weigh more b/c those are required.

hmmm, i sent a total of 4 letters of rec. 2 from guidance counselors (i moved right before senior year so i had one from each school) and 2 from teachers (one from new school and 1 from old). my 4 letters seemed like the trend on CC, so i'd only go with one supplemental

ok, if I only send 1 supplemental, would...the lab look better? Or the coach (he is also a teacher) look better?

I just did the amount the common app said to do

Hm...the thing is, my coach REALLY wants to write one for me...

but I think my lab might be more useful -_- AHHHHHHHH~
