<p>So I had asked three teachers for recommendations, simply because certain schools I'm applying to required a science or english etc., but I specified to my counselor which TWO recs to send to each school. Apparently, and I'm assuming mistakenly, she assigned all three recommendations to Yale, and the college has already downloaded all three. Unfortunately, two of them are somewhat repetitive...is this gonna hurt?</p>
<p>Yale allows for one additional recommendation, and Admissions would like the third letter to say something new and different about you, but if the two similar letters both say positive things about you, such as what is on MIT’s website, then it shouldn’t hurt.
