<p>you dont need to send it till after theyve accepted you or unless they do a random verification on you in the spring sometime (they do it on 10% of the applications, i believe...)</p>
<p>what? they dont look at your transcripts until you're accepted? why? i thought they took into account your grades and gpa in the admission process? how would they do that if they dont see your transcript?</p>
<p>there is a self-reported section for grades on the app itself...they check it against your transcript once youve accepted thier offfer of admission to make sure you dont lie</p>
<p>@ OP - Yes, just the online app; no recommendations needed for admission itself (might need them for UC scholarships later).</p>
<p>As far as transcripts go - you self report your A-G classes in one section and then all the other classes you took in another section. Then if you get an offer of acceptance, you send in your transcript for them to verify your grades.</p>
