Hi everyone… I was wondering if I should approach the two teachers I’m going to be getting my recs from about them within the next few weeks (my school lets out June 22). I don’t want to come off as pushy or neurotic, but it might be a good idea to give them some time to think about it rather than ask them when 20 other kids are asking the same thing. I am definitely applying somewhere early (I’ve got it down to 4). Any suggestions?

<p>Definitely ask before summer and give all your info (transcripts, resume) before school lets out. Teachers are a lot less stressed during the summer and will have more time to focus on you. This is what I did and what my guidance counselor really stressed.</p>
