Are there any high school courses you guys want to recommend? Like, what do colleges view as prestigious, etc, or what is just a really good class to take?

The only AP I'm taking next year (sophomore year) is AP govt & politics, so I was wondering what I should take junior year...

I love psychology, so i'd say Psychology ^_^

I would definately take AP Calculus. It's kinda required at my school...

Take the ones you're interested in. I'm serious about this, because the one time I took a class in a subject I was not interested in, my GPA dropped from a 4.3 to a 3.8 (on a system from 1.0 to 4.5, 4.5 being an A+).

Also, find out what APs are easy and/or fun from others who have taken them. I'm taking one of my APs partially because everyone says its really really easy.

Colleges don't really see any APs as prestigious, so don't worry about that.

Okay, thanks for the input. I'm thinking I'll take Psych and probably Calculus, English, and French.

If you like Social Studies, then all of the history courses are fun... It all depends on what you are interested in. Find out what is taught well at your school and weigh that with your interests in subjects.
