<p>I noticed on the Yale app that the recommended RD Deadline is December 15. I probably will not have my application ready by then, so will it matter if I do not send it to them until the real deadline?</p>
<p>Don't worry about it, the recommended deadline for EA was Oct 15, and many of us were scrambling to the post office on Nov 1...Just make sure that it's postmarked by Dec 31 and you'll be fine</p>
<p>The recommended deadline is just Yale's attempt to not be swamped with mail right after the New Year.</p>
