Just notice the “recommended deadline” for US high schooler is November 7.
What difference btw UT’s “recommended” and “final”.
Very confusing.
From what I can tell admissions is kind of rolling, and they might fill up the program you are applying to before the final deadline. So if you apply by the recommended you’re pretty much guaranteed to get a spot as long as you meet their requirements, while if you apply around the final then you risk being rejected even if they think you would fit in the class, because there isn’t any room left. I know it’s late but I hope this helps! Just try to apply as soon as you can.
