So long story short, I got a AS in Software Development in Coleman University. Problem? I just now realized how expensive a Bachelors in Coleman is and the fact that they may lose Accreditation by Summer 2018 made me think twice about coming back (I heard rumors that they are going through some hard times). Whats worse, none of those classes I took can be transferred to any Community College and now I have to start from scratch in Mesa Community College (The AS is legit but its simply not transferable).
So right now I am already admitting myself to Mesa College, planning on taking on their Computer and Information Science degree. For the most part, I am very proficient when it comes to any IT classes but I am worried about general education classes like biology, math and the such.
So I have to ask, what do you guys think is a good above-average GPA requirement in order to transfer to SDSU’s Computer Science degree? I’ve read that the requirement is rather on the low 2.0 GPA, but of course I wouldn’t be seen dead near that low of score. For the most part, I could keep a solid 3.0 or even 3.2 but I was wondering if I should go even higher?
What do you guys think?
