hey guys i was wondering if you guys could tell me about any easy self study ap's.thanx

us gov't isn't bad self-study if your interested in that sort of thing

I'm pretty sure there are a few threads out there like this, but I'll answer anyway.
Apparently Psych is an easy exam to pass as is Human Geo. I would take those into account if you like Social Sciences. I would also include AP Comp Govt because it isn't too difficult if you memorize the basics.

it all depends on your prior knowledge and ow much you like that subject.

the "easiest" are...

Psychology
human geo.
us gov't
environmental sci.
economics (mac/mic)

oh ok thanks alot so what books wud you guys advise

US Gov is not as easy as you think. It has one of the lowest percentages of 5's.

Enviornmental Science is ridiculous - get Smarty Pants and with some essay writing skills, you will have a 5.

Psych is similar to Enviro - but get PR.

Economics is not THAT easy. It is if you have plenty of time to prep for it - start at least 2-3 weeks in advance and use PR.

Human Geo is very easy too, judging from my school's performance. Don't know which prep book is good, though.

^ don't get PR for psych. everyone knows (except you), that Barron's is the best for psych.

I don't have a Barrons book, but I did get a 5 using PR's Psych for just a few days.

well i prefer PR because they tell you the exact stuff..and is very very precise..so i just need to start a couple of weeks before..thats nice..im looking forward to them

I'll be taking a regular Pysch course this year, will this be enough to take the AP Test? I'm sure I'll get a book (Barrons, w/e) to help.

If you're good at math, try your hand at Calc BC. The test itself is of normal difficulty, but the curve is awesome.

how hard is AP bio to self study? the rate for a 5 is pretty high , so how long would it take to learn the subject and which textbook/review book is best

Should I self-study Cal BC if i'm taking the Cal AB course since my school doesn't offer BC?

FarrCT, not if you plan on taking more Calculus courses later. If you're done with math in college, go ahead and try for even more college credit by taking the BC test. But if you're doing it to skip ahead, self-studying is not a good idea. Having a teacher is an invaluable experience, especially for mathematics courses. It doesn't matter how good you are at studying-having someone else working with you is essential. They say the Math Department is the least secretive department in colleges. I'd say if it weren't, then more than half of the advances made in Mathematics contemporarily would never have happened.

I recommend this to you strongly, not only as a math major but as someone who really appreciates the subject. If I had that option, I promise you I would not have self-studied BC.
