Recommended size of microwave?

<p>Could anyone please give me a recommended size of a microwave for use in the Unit Residence halls? What size should I get to be able to fit it in the storage right beside the door when you enter the room?</p>

<p>As of now, the smallest depth I can find is 10-7/8"</p>

<p>I don’t have a clear memory of how deep those shelves are right by the door, but I don’t think they were deep enough for a microwave. I guess I could be wrong. But, everyone who had a microwave put them on top of the fridge they brought.</p>
