I just went on the Princeton and Harvard websites, and I'm not sure if I meet the recommended school subjects (due to the nature of the overseas school system I'm in). 2 years of history was recommended by both institutions, and although I took history in the 9th and 10th grades, it was only for a semester each time - this was all that was permitted at my school. However, in 10th grade, I did take 11th grade history and 11th grade geography (we studied a semester of history followed by a semester of geography in both the 9th and 10th grades). Would this be acceptable, seeing as it did cover European, Australian, Asian and American history and I did take geography for both years as well? Our final two years of school are also significantly different - we can only take 6 subjects, and in order to include physics, chemistry, two english subjects, a foreign language and mathematics, I didn't have room to pursue history at a higher level. The US consulate also recommended that we don't take SAT II history subjects, because apparently the American viewpoint differs considerably from what we cover, and I'm pretty sure that APs are no longer offered in the country too.
