Today is the last day to submit the GMS application and I went to ask my teachers who were doing the Recommendation and Nomination letter if they were done. My Nominator said he was done he just needed to submit it and my other teacher said he had already submitted everything 4 days ago; however, once i got home it says neither of them has submitted anything not even the recommendation. Does the GMS allow late teacher forms? I'm really worried because I don't have any way of reaching the teacher that told me he had submitted it. HELP!

Sorry, they do not allow late teacher forms. Everything must be complete and submitted by 11:59 p.m. EST.

Are you sure there is no way to contact your teacher?

I will try my best to reach him. Does the page automatically update when he submits the form or does it take a while to process? It says “None” for both my nominator and recommender.

Yes, it automatically updates. Your recommender’s name will appear under “Recommenders” with a star (meaning it is the active form) and a green check mark.

Ok, I have tried contacting my teachers, but neither of them answer. Should I call GMS?

Why would you need to call GMS?

Thanks a bunh for this

Okay I know this discussion was awhile ago but I’m hoping someone could help me. Both my reccomender and nominator form have a green check saying submitted but only my nominator has a yellow star saying active. What does that mean exactly?? Does my reccomender need to do something else in order to make it active?
