Recorded back up tracks - HELP!

I need advice from you seasoned auditioners. My dd is auditioning for 11 colleges this weekend at "Moonfieds" in Dallas. Only 2 of the colleges have a live piano accompanist. The other 9 want recorded piano tracks.
So my question is this, For the schools who want recorded tracks, should she also have additional tracks recorded beyond the 2 she is singing, in case the auditors ask her if she has anything else? Should they be on the same ipod/cd? Obviously they can't vocalize her, and her book of song rep is not going to be much good to her if there is no accompanist.
Help!!!!

For recent auditions, my D did have extra tracks on an iPod just in case of the scenario you suggested above. She ended up not needing them, but . . . .

And yes, they were on the same iPod, just a separate playlist. :0)

Ok, just in case, we will do that. Where did you daughter do her recent auditions? These are some of the most competitive schools and I don’t want dd to make any mistakes. Also this is so early. Is everyone already prepared with all these songs and tracks??? Did she have just a couple of songs or all the ones in her rep book? Is everyone doing this?

They may be able to vocalize her. You can vocalize someone without a piano… just so she will be prepared :-)

Break Legs!

I just got all my tracks organized - I cut the piano accompaniment for my uptempo and ballad to 32 bars for my ipod. I also have the original full piano for those just in case. Also, I went ahead and cut 32 bars of my 2 “backup” songs, and put those on my ipod along with those full versions too. Anything can happen in an audition, so it helps my nerves to be prepared for anything!! I wouldn’t worry about having everything in her rep - just a few backups that can show her technique, with contrasting styles :)
