Recreational Martial Arts

Which, if any, are worth doing?

Meaning, which ones have legit instructors, quality training, and stuff like that.

i hear the taekwondo team is somewhat decent

i heard they got first place out of the UC tournament or sumthing like that :P

im not really sure.

My friend is the secretary of the tkd club :] She told me that they do have legit instructors who teach at other dojangs off campus. They also do belt tests so you can continue to advance if you wish. I think UCSD’s is one of the better ranked tkd clubs in the UC system. I know they have practices a couple times a week for like 2 hrs or so and i think every or every other wednesday they have to run a couple miles on the track XD

Any Karate clubs on campus. I have been with USSD ( United studios of Self defense) for over ten years. Hate to discontinue once I get into UCSD. Prefer in campus since I will not have a car.
