<p>Try comparing your sprint times and long jump PRs with the current team’s stats at gocrimson.com you will get a good idea if you are competitive. Generally the long jumpers are very tall and long-legged, the opposite build of a coxswain.</p>
<p>Top sprinters (sub 12.2 - 100m) are always in demand. Tough to find smart sprinters ;-)</p>

<p>Ask any Ivy track coach. It’s pretty easy to find quality distance and XC kids who can meet the academic standards of the school. It’s notoriously difficult to find great sprinters who can - regardless of race, color or creed.</p>
