Recruiting protocols for D1 & D3 during Covid 19 shutdown

My son is a football recruit (HS class of 2021) and we planned to visit several schools during his upcoming spring break. Suffice it to say, all of the schools are now virtual and we cannot visit the coaches. Has the NCAA changed recruiting protocols around the use of emails, texts, phone calls, and video conferencing(VC) for recruiting? It is my understanding that there may be some limits on D1 coaches around phone calls/VCs during certain periods and curious if those rules have been relaxed.

In person recruiting is suspended for DI, so a dead period right now.

All other forms of communication are ok. This is a great time to be contacting coaches.

Good luck.
