I was wondering what the protocol is for people to get recruited who have finished high school already? I’m currently in my senior year and was wondering if I take a gap year, is it still feasible to get recruited for entry 2016?
Thanks

Will you still be actively playing your sport in a venue where a prospective coach can see you play? Hard to recruit if they can’t see you play in person.
I’m an international so unless a coach is at a competition abroad, i doubt they’ll be able to see me. Would sending a video suffice?
Videos, times, results or if you play at competitions that are online work. However, I think it is a long shot unless you really push.
You need to check NCAA eligibility rules in your sport. In some sports you start losing athletic eligibly after 6 month of HS graduation. Potentially you may end up not being allowed to play your sport for all 4 years. You should also be careful regarding sport activities you will be involved during this gap year.
