my application is being backed by the field hockey program at haverford, which is great because it is an amazing school that is one of my top choices, and i absolutely love the team. i'm not a true recruit because i didn't have a video or anything, but i met with the coach, she knows my season stats which were very good (lead scorer, team made it to state semifinals).

when she told me i was being supported by the program, she told me to keep in touch. what would this entail exactly? she knows all of my recent awards and activities. anything else i should tell her?

if anyone could help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

I got a similar email when I got recruited by UChicago. "Keeping in touch" just means that you should talk regularly to the coach about your progress in high school, your other recruitment offers and any queries you may have.

I don't think it means anything specific. If you have some new sports achievements to share, that's always nice. Or maybe send an email saying something about how much you're hoping to be accepted because you love the school, yadda yadda. One reason coach's like ED is that they know the athletes are making a committment to come, so they don't have to worry about wasting tips or time and energy backing applications when the athlete could go somewhere else on a whim. I think it's just nice to let the coach's know in RD that you're still really interested in going the school and playing on the team. (I mean, assuming you are.)
