<p>I'm being recruited by a PhD program. It's great and very flattering, but I have not sent my actual application in yet. I meet all the requirements listed. Just wondering about others experiences of recruitment.</p>

<p>In the case of meeting all the req's and having a professor who wants to work with you- did any of you then Not get accepted, or not get aid. How and why???</p>

<p>If a professor wants to work with you, then it is very likely that you will be admitted into the PhD program, especially if the department is small.</p>

<p>That is reassuring. I just hope they see to it that I get some money...
Anyone have any other "stories" or wise words??</p>
