Recruits at JHU?

I sent in a recruit form for JHU men's swimming about a month ago, but the coach hasn't responded...my times compared to the meet results posted on the site are just a little slower than their junior/senior swimmers and faster than their fresh/soph swimmers, and i'm going into senior year of high school.. i can expect some significant time drops, so i don't really see why the coach wouldn't send me an email or something...?

Is swimming at JHU popular/important and what should I do to get contacts with the coach?

keep on trying to get in contact with him...

JHU has a strong swim team and I am sure they recruit to an extent, but as you know, they are D3

what are your academic stats?

Good Luck :)

Act 33
Sat 2100
Sat IIs Bio 730
US 690
2 Club Presidents, a lot of volunteer stuff, all that jazz, swimming is my main EC

for swimming, the coach doesn't have an email address posted or phone number, should i just fill out the recruit form again?

actually i found the email, sry

call the athletic department and ask how to get in contact with the swim coach.. perhaps he doesn't really check email over the summer--- musnt be that great of a recruiter :(

BTW, your stats are pretty good. Gives you a good shot ED, but you might need that push!

do recruiters usually want you to apply ED? i might not be able to

they want to know if they are going to stick their neck out for you as a recruit, that you would more than likely take the offer of admission. Not necessary for you to apply ED, but helpful. Otherwise, you equate to the "average" Hopkins applicant.
