recs - one sci, one hum?

Hi,

so I plan on doing premed, prob majoring in biochem or something. When I apply to college, I'll have worked two years in a research lab (going back this year for my 2nd year), and will thus have a pretty strong supplemental science recommendation.

My question is, for the two teacher recs, should one be humanities and one be science? Or is it ok if BOTH are humanities, as I feel my history and English teacher both know me a lot better than my science teachers. My English teacher knows me from class and newspaper (as editor in chief), and my history teacher can write a lot about me showing leadership in her class.

Thanks in advance.

sorry for the buuuuump but I really need to ask teachers soon so I’d appreciate any replies.

History and English are just fine. They are considered two different “disciplines.” Whether you’re going for science, pre-med or whatever doesn’t really matter, since colleges know that most kids change their minds several times while in college.
