Before anything, I'd like to say that I am perfectly happy with attending Stanford after the unexpected acceptance. However, I feel that I would be doing an injustice to myself by not also sending over my essays specifically written for Yale, my top East Coast choice. As such is the case, the question of recommendations comes into play. What I see on the common ap for school forms is that both recommendations from my teachers show a green "submitted" status. Does this indicate that the recommendations are sent to the common ap and then redistributed amongst applicant schools, or do I have to somehow resend these. As of now, the "resend" button cannot be clicked which leads me to assume that I needed only to get the recs sent through the common application the first time (when I applied to Stanford) and as such is the case, I will not have to ask them again. Is this a correct assumption?

All you need to do is select the recs you want to be sent in the “school forms” section of the common app. No need to have your teachers do anything.

For every university you apply to, you need to select which recommendations you want to send along with it as some institutions only require one recommendation and others require two.
