<p>Does Purdue want Letters of Recs? I couldnt find that on the website so im not sure.</p>

Recommendations are not required. My impression is that most students do not submit recommendations as part of their Purdue applications.</p>
<p>My only caveat to this is that if you’re an especially good candidate, you might consider submitting recommendations, or any other important supplemental material. My daughter did, and she was invited to apply for the Beering scholarship (which she did not get) and received a Trustees scholarship. I would say that the additional items in her application didn’t hurt her at all, and may have helped her.</p>
