<p>I applied to UNC as a Freshman transfer and got waitlisted last year :(. I am applying again this year as a Sophmore transfer. </p>

<p>Last year I opted for the "If you have written an essay for another school's application that you really like, feel free to use it as your essay for us" essay prompt. </p>

<p>I want to use the same essay I used last year. Will admissions see my previous essay and look down on me recycling the same essay?</p>

<p>I don’t think they would take the time to compare your files side by side, but if you didn’t get in with that essay last year why would you want to use it again?</p>

<p>It was a good essay. I do not think the essay was holding me back so much as my lackluster high school stats. At least thats what a counselor at UNC told me.</p>
