Red Book ACT scores vs. actual?

For someone who has already taken the ACT, how did your practice test scores from the red book compare with your actual scores?

For me, ive taken four of the tests, and ive gotten three 31s and one 32.
I have also taken the 1296 princton review practice test, and got a 30..

Even though I would be fine with a 31, i'm nervous I might do worse because all of the tests ive taken havent been very consistent... I'll do well in some sections (33-35) and then do bad in other sections (26-29) and idk somehow it allways evens out... btw i do take all of the tests under correct timing conditions..

From my experience, I feel like this test is mostly luck. You either get questions your good at or you don't. My only consistency has been with the math section 34+

Im taking the test this Saturday and just not really sure what to expect? Any advice is appreciated :)

I took two tests from the Red Book during the week before I took the ACT, and I got a 35 on both practice tests and a 36 on the real thing. When you get up into the higher scores, I think a lot of it is luck. With me, I was lucky because of very generous math and science curves. I’d say that the Red Book tests are pretty accurate.

I think the tests in the red book are actual ACTs.

They’re old ACT exams so they’re very accurate.

My daughter has gone through most if not all current ACT practice books including the Red Book. She got pretty much the same composite score on her real test as her last several practice tests.
