I know it's the official ACT book, but I'm nervous that it will be easier than the actual ACT.

How accurate were your red book scores were in comparison to your actual ACT? Thanks :]

Before I took my first ACT, I took the Official Study Guide 2010 practice test (it’s that little packet that you can pick up from your counselor’s office) and also took the first 2 tests in the Red Book. I scored a 33, 31, and 32 respectively. On the actual ACT (June 2011), I got a 33.

So I’d say that they’re pretty accurate, but if I remember correctly, the math on the June ACT murdered my face :o.

I know what you mean about the June ACT Math lol.

Some administrations of the ACT or easier than others (in my opinion), but the curve usually accounts for this. I think the Red Book is the best prep you can find outside prep classes.

Im hoping its pretty accurate. Taken 3 redbook tests so far, scored 31, 32, 32. Superscored i would have a 33, so hopefully tomorrows test isnt too bad :P

While somewhat comforting because I will probably do well on English/reading in that case, I am now even more concerned about math. This whole test thing has ruined my mood tonight! I can’t do anything but think about tomorrow morning and worry about how bad I may or may not do. :P

I got a confidence boost today taking my last practice test by scoring a 36 in math. I consider myself a very strong math student, but somehow I ALWAYS manage to get 1 question wrong, and never get a perfect. Happens on both SAT and ACT. Always mess one thing up. But this time I broke the chain, so im hoping tomorrow is a good day for me :D

Wow! I’ll be truly lucky if I break 30! I never was the math type. Good luck on the test tomorrow, I’m sure you’ll do great. :)

thanks you too

Yeah for me the red book seemed awfully easy, I’ve been averaging 34-35 composite for each test which is strange because my highest SAT score was a 1960. Haha oh well ;)

Good luck everyone, and thanks for the reassurance :)
