The Big Red sure didn't look too good at Madison Square Garden last Saturday. I am a Terrier fan and obviously loved the game. Any Cornell kids have any cool stories from Saturday? Sorry about the loss guys :)

lol jerk. I watched it pay-per-view too :( . Since it was so successful w/ it being sold out hopefully they have it again soon.

Cornell still roxxx. N BU's record still suxxx :) (lol sry had to say something mean bout them cuz I hate that we lost haha). The 2nd period was really fun to watch at least...gj tho u guys did really well. Ur goalie rocked.

Lol you think our goalie this year good, you should have seen us the last two years when we had our star John Curry. We were ranked #1 in the country going into the NCAA tourney two years ago. Bennett (our new goalie) just became a regular. He did look pretty good though. That first period really killed you guys. Your goalie should have made alot of those saves that trickled around the post.

Great night overall. Seeing Mike Eruzione, Jack O'Callahan, and Dave Silk was awesome too. Even the Cornell fans stood up and cheered for them as the entire arena starts chanting USA! USA! Really cool moment. I also hope they do this whole thing again. The rivalry is fun and what better place than NYC.

lol ya I know Curry used to dominate. Unfortunately Bennett did that night too haha

That was really cool that Mike Eruzione, Jack O'Callahan, and Dave Silk stood out there n of course everyone had to pay respects.

My friend said that that was the first sold out college game in MSG in 20 years so I feel like there is hope for more!

I am applying to both BU and Cornell. Anyone else?

Yeah, I know alot of people tho applied to both. Seems like both have alot in common.

I was there. With my family of four hockey-ignorami.

They all had a great time and liked the game. Which is quite a victory in itself.

Cornell dominated in all the important areas: fan participation, fan support, intermission programming. (No way BU's vaunted Communications School reviewed their boring school overview; no nice campus to photograph)

The only areas BU held any advantage whatsoever was in little technical stuff like: shots on goal, goals, offense, defense- you know, the arcana.

It was a complete Cornell victory.

When we came back, my HS son agreed to wear my Cornell T shirt, which unfortunately no longer fits me. I guess it shrunk...

When I was in school, Dave Silk was on the ice for BU. And CU featured the Nethery line.

It was great to see college hockey again, I think it's one of the great sports. Hard to keep up with though, once you leave.

One word to the wise:

" It's all your fault" sounds a lot more credible when your own goalie hasn't already let in three goals in about three minutes.

Didn't stop us of course. Nor should it.

My mom went to Cornell undergrad and BU Law. She's way more proud of Cornell though. Unfortunately, I did not get to go b/c I was away.

im applying to both...

A lot better this time… a tie.
Glad I didn’t stick around to see the Bu goal in the last minute.

blah, 2 of their goals were questionable. seemed like the refs and announcer favored BU.

thread title scared me. i am glad we didnt lose

Definitely need to change the name of the thread…

Really unfortunate that the goalie could make so many stellar saves and then have 2 goals slip through after he’d made the save (still not sure about the last one).

Cornell dominated the OT, though BU dominated the T.O.P. and shots throughout. They need to go to the shoot-out.

Haha I was there. I’m not really into sports, but I found the game to be very exciting. Cornell is my #1, and BU is the #1 school for the friends that I went with, so we had a bit of a rivalry going on. From where I was sitting, the Cornell band looked like an army of Waldo’s from Where’s Waldo. It made me very happy lol.
