Hello
I am a high school senior and I want to accomplish my goal of attending undergraduate studies at an ivy league. It would be much appreciated if you guys could give me some advice on how to accomplish this.
My background: I have always been labelled as a gifted student growing up, being placed ahead in math and qualifying and joining MENSA in middleschool. For high school, I transferred to the most one of the most rigorous public schools in Texas, which is currently ranked in the top 50 high schools in the nation. The competition and difficulty of the school and its IB program completely overwhelmed me and although I managed a 3.8 in my freshman and sophomore years, the start of the IB program in my junior year coupled with an increasingly nonchalant attitude put my gpa at the 3.4 that it is at now.

I have applied to a few ivys and other schools and I have acceptance into my back-ups.
I recently recieved a wake-up call in the form of two consecutive rejections from non-ivy schools that I thought I would have easily gotten into. Awaiting the ivy acceptances, my expectations are low and I am considering taking a scholarship to a local school and transferring to an ivy.

Please consider the following: Although my grades were absolute garbage in the last two years of high school, I did achieve an SAT score of 2230 and a combined math&reading of 1490. I got national merit semifinalist with my PSAT score, but didn't make finalist because of my grades and overall contempt from some of my teachers. I played Varsity soccer for two years and I maintain a fitness blog. I run my own tutoring business that has raised over $1500 in the last year for non-profit. I placed 32nd in the world in a DECA (business and entrepreneurship) competition last year and I'm on my way to doing even better this year. I will be graduating with my IB diploma this year and I have 4 AP exams of a 4 or higher under my belt so far. I have spent hundreds of hours shadowing doctors in hospitals both in the US and overseas (I will be taking pre-med next year and I plan on going to medical school).

I really want to know what my chances will be of transferring from a local university to an ivy after my freshman year in college, if any more info is required please let me know.
