I’ve been accepted! At 7pm central time. I’m so happy. I was also accepted to Amherst today, so I’ll have to make a decision between the two… SO DIFFICULT! I like both colleges, and I like different things about both colleges, and I also dislike many things about both.
I hope those of you who haven’t received emails yet get good news!

I wish they would at least notify us that decisions are being released in tiers. The wait is nausea-inducing.

It seems almost every college I’ve applied to has been unorthodox in how they tell us our decision. One college sent me an e-mail 2.5 weeks before I expected it, a few decided only to mail, a few just magically popped up on their status pages without emailing me, and now Reed’s doing something cute with how they’re releasing decisions. I just hope I get in…I’ve been rejected at Williams, Rice, and Carleton in the last week
Has anyone from NC heard anything? I’ve still yet to get anything and my portal is unchanged.

I think they might have emailed anyone beyond a certain region and relied on mail for anyone close to the campus. “Close” being relative, I mean, perhaps in the same region as the campus itself?
I live in FL and haven’t heard anything. Someone else apparently got in who also lives in Florida. I’m really hoping this doesn’t mean those who haven’t gotten emails have been rejected…
NC isn’t very close to Oregon though.
Edit: Apparently the subject of the email was “It’s Friday and we’re in love.” If it doesn’t arrive in the next 45 minutes, I’d assume rejection.

Has anyone received an email staying they didn’t get in? Unfortunate that the acceptance emails are going out but nothing else. Bummed 
@summmmahhhh Someone a few pages back from Illinois did get accepted, and that’s part of Falone Serna’s region.

Post 199 mentions a friend receiving an actual rejection around same time the poster rec’d an acceptance.
We are still waiting here as well.
