@AGoodFloridian That’s the way to take it, buddy. Impressed by your spirit and perspective. College really does not define your life, how you use your resources and your resilience will. Bottomline is if you really want something in your life you where you go to college doesn’t matter.Sure a degree from an ivy looks amazing on a living room wall, but in the end all that counts is what you do.In the words of some great guy(really can’t remember who) Everything in life boils down to this riddle : Are you what you think you are. Eventually the world lets you know whether you’re a keeper or just recreational.

@clueless96 not really. A friend of mine got his like at 11 PM PT and he got rejected. I still haven’t gotten mine. There doesnt seem to be a sequence.

For domestic prospective students looking for a FedEx box… here are the transit times. I used zip code 97201 to do the search from Portland. http://www.fedex.com/grd/maps/MapEntry.do Washington and Oregon may get boxes today, CA on Monday… etc.

@AGoodFloridian Aww man I’m so sorry to hear that. Even after I was rejected from the ED2 round I still kind of lurked on this thread rooting for you because you have a unique worldly perspective and have a sense of enthusiasm that’s contagious 
Though I’m 100% sure you’ll kill it at FSU. It’s funny I only live 10 minutes from FSU and it’s an awesome school. I didn’t apply though despite liking it a lot because I’d probably end up living at home and knowing my parents that would’ve driven me crazy. In case you’re wondering I actually got into Bard College but I’m choosing to go to New College of Florida because of how flexible and open its curriculum is. And it’s so liberal for Florida being a red state (being a Commie is accepted there :P). Plus I get bright futures for it and can graduate debt free without taking out any student loans 
So even though I was dead set on Reed for almost a year and after a month of consoling the rejection it’s funny how things can still work out. Best of luck to you, it’s been a true privilege reading your posts
