@thunderfly Did you ask for Financial aid. I am international applicant from India and I got wait listed too. I asked for a huge amount of Financial Aid.

@thunderfly Accepted to NYU (Still waiting on FA) , Boston University ( Presidential Scholarship), Rochester Institute of Technology (20000$), Illinois Tech (25000$) Florida Institute of Technology (19500$) Hofstra University (27000$) and University of Connecticut (Honors) with 32 ACT and 2300SAT2 (PCM2). I think I will attend Illinois Tech. A wait list is equivalent to a rejection for an international student asking huge amount of FA. They don’t reject you directly as that would be disrespectful .I got wait listed at Connecticut College too. I was fascinated by Reed’s (3+2) engineering program which allowed me to earn both a B.A and B.S. If you don’t mind me asking what were your stats and where else where you accepted?

Oh, and I (student’s mom) registered for the FedEx Package Manager, and maybe I did it wrong, but nothing ever showed in there. I checked it last night. WGPA: 3.8; ACT: 28 but did write some nice essays.
Waitlisted. 3.63 UW, 33 ACT. I think I’m going to accept the place, even though I know the chances of getting off of it are very slim.
