I read that when you apply to graduate school, Reed was ranked #3 in the country for being best recognized as an undergrad.

Is their Economics program as good as their holistic rating?

Also, what does it take to get in?

And here are my credentials... could i get in?

I am a caucasian, 16 year old boy, having just finished up my sophomore year, my GPA is 3.87 unweighted, with AP classes, challenging classes, and having skipped some classes. I would sometimes choose the harder teacher just to make sure I learn the subject. I have 60+ hours of service learning out in the community: taking seminars on how to teach tennis to youth, trash clean up in preparation for graduation, volunteering for the local lions club fundraiser, etc. I really value my education, and want to go somewhere where I can further my intelligence, creativity, and profound leadership quality. Freshman year I took AP US History and discovered I wasn't yet adapted for the AP world (especially a 2 semester class.) I received a 2 on the exam, but it only motivated me. I took AP Government this year, received a 3, and I am positive next year I will continue to improve to 4's and 5's. Next year I am taking AP Psychology, AP English, and AP Spanish ( I took spanish 1&2 last year and this year I am skipping 3 and doing 4 and AP.)
I am preparing myself for the grueling ACT, and each practice test I have received phenomenal results. By the time I finish it my third time, my goal is at least a 32 or 33.
I am also extremely active outside the classroom. I am a soccer player (4 years of high school varsity and now the captain of the high school team in grades 11 and 12.) I also play varsity tennis all 4 years, and because of my soccer kicking abilities, I am the kicker for the varsity football team, in grades 11 and 12.
I am interested in running for president senior year (it's already too late for junior year) and I want to join the Future business leaders of America. I would like to find some time my senior year to be an intern as well.
I also have a passion for music.
I have played saxophone since the 5th grade, and I have gotten very good, and I will probably go out for All Shore or All State band next year if time permits. I have musical background with the piano, the xylophone (just got one and about to start taking lessons,) the recorder, the drums, and the panflute (believe it or not.) I can read music on all of these.
I dedicate my summers to my job. I have an excellent job at a summer day camp (I work with the 4-7 year olds) and we help teach them creativity and help them to have fun. I do that every year during the summer, and I would work more than I do, but I simply can't, time doesn't permit.
