Just got my decision! Wait listed, but I’m super okay with that since I expected a rejection haha.
Just found out, and I got in! I am incredibly surprised, as my credentials were terrible. A tough decision lies ahead, but I’m glad I have an option to be fairly close to home for college, as the only other school I applied to that I am considering is in the middle of nowhere upstate New York.
Is your other school Cornell?

Got my box today, with lots of little goodies in it and a personal note about how great my essay was!!!
Probably won’t be able to go though after I see what little FA I get. My middle class parents work their butts off to make ends meet in this expensive area we live in, but it’s still too much to see any kind of aid. Sucks.
A box has arrived in norcal! Got my email friday night, like most. There was a nice line in it about my essay and I’m pretty sure everyone gets it but it was such a cool personal touch haha.

Box arrived in NorCal! Unfortunately I’m stuck at boarding school on the east coast so I won’t be able to open it until March, can’t wait to see what’s inside

I got my FA the other day and decided that Reed is no longer an option for me. I will be declining my admissions offer later today.
