Waitlisted…
Son in New Mexico got the acceptance email too.
I also got the acceptance email, however no mention on financial aid. At this point I am pretty set on another school so it will have to meet a pretty high standard to sway me. I feel like Reed really harms themselves in terms of yield by releasing decisions so late and so sporadically, because I would have taken this a lot more seriously earlier in then cycle
just received email and got in. Will international students receive the box too?
We haven’t received anything yet in the way of an email or snail mail envelope/package…We live in Central Oregon. My poor daughter is on pins and needles just waiting to know, one way or another.
Anyone else from Oregon waiting to hear back from Reed?
My son got his status by checking the portal, did you try that (I assume you did, but maybe I am wrong?)? Good luck!!!
We are in the SF Bay Area. No e-mail or USPS mail.
We were just at Reed today for a final visit. While there someone asked about notices and boxes being sent out. The admissions rep said that the last of the boxes were being mailed out this week. My child received her acceptance today too by email, but nothing in the post yet.
Just got an email with the good news. I’m in!
No update yet. Why can’t Reed just send out all updates at once
My daughter just got her acceptance email tonight - sent out at 7:13 pm. She’s very happy. No financial aid yet so I’m assuming that’s coming in the next couple of days. We’re in Tacoma, WA.
Acceptance email just came in but no box yet. We’re in Whidbey Island, WA. Good luck, everyone!
It’s bad enough frustrating those at the end of the process. No need to frustrate everyone by waiting until all are processed.
No e-mail (or box) here for D19, but no update in a portal, either.
Did everyone receive the acceptance email at the same time?
Waitlisted, but it’s ok. Out of 9 schools I applied to I only got waitlisted at now 2 and accepted at everything else, so I’m doing alright in terms of my options. Congrats to everyone who was accepted!!!
Does everyone get an email? If so, by what day?
I assume everyone who’s accepted gets an email. Not sure about other applicants.
I think only people with their packages still in the mail got emails. They don’t usually accept domestic students by email, so there was probably some difficulty getting packages out this year.
I know that traditionally, the majority of packages are sent out April 1st, but there might be a few stragglers.
They definitely send rejection emails eventually, but until then it’s hard to interpret what silence means.
