I was accepted to Reed, Macalester, Kenyon and Bard but have yet to make a decision because I like each school a lot. I would really appreciate any thoughts you have on any of the above schools.
Thanks!

Reed is amazing.
I have several friends that go there that love it. Portland is one of the coolest cities, especially for a college student. It depends on waht you want to study and do. I know that Reed has one of, if not the highest, phd productions by population in the country.

From what I know, at least Kenyon and Macalester differ EXREMELY in their locations. Macalester is in the middle of a metropolis, students can be really active the the greater community in a huge variety of activities(political, business, volunteering, entertainment) and also have the benefit of the University of Minnesota resources nearby. Kenyon on the other hand, just feels small... my family got lost in a cornfield after our visit. Both environments are perfect for different people.

Thanks for your input! At the moment, I'm thinking about majoring in Classics or International Relations. The thing with Classics is that a lot of LACs don't have the resources for students already pretty advanced in Latin or Greek.

To me it seemed that Reed valued its classics majors quite highly, though I would talk to each of the respective departments, as I am only familiar with Reed, Bard, and Macalester. Plus my

As a Reedie would say: GO TO BARD!
As a Bard student would say: GO TO BARD!

As I will say: GO TO REED!

From my perspective it has the most challenging academics, most reputable education, a very strong community, and a fantastic city near-by. I would very likely be at Reed were it not for my darned first choice school. I still might go to Reed once I am done though.

Macalester is the best of the bunch in terms or IR, but you really can't go wrong with any of those.

For me, Reed would have the best location, Macalester would have the academics best suited to me, but Bard would have its music conservatory to grab my attention.
