Reference Letter

So I checked the UChicago Website, and they say that they require two reference letters, one from Math/Science teacher and another one from Social Studies/English Teacher.

I really like Math and science so i've been actively participated only in those classes.
However, I hated socials and english that my marks are not even that good and I don't think those teachers won't even like to write me those letters...

WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Does anyone know any other schools that require two reference letters from different teachers like UChicago?

MIT has the same requirement. Princeton also asks for recs from teachers of two different areas.

bump (10char) bump

The best answer?

Chicago is not the school for you. All students, regardless of intended major, undergo a hefty core curriculum that really hones in on reading and writing skills. If you don't like history and English now, I can promise that humanities and social sciences will be even less pleasant.

There's a reason Chicago asks for an English/history teacher rec as well as a math/science one :-)

Would a rec from a Spanish teacher be considered humanities? What area does a Finance class go under? Yes, my school has a Finance class.

if you are asking specifically for UC, the Spanish teacher does not count as humanities. I attened an open house, and remember the questions being asked to the admissions officer.
don't know about other schools or finance class
