It’s not as huge as it would seem because it is taller and thinner than the standard dorm fridge in order to accommodate the freezer. No icemaker, but it does have a real freezer.

Thanks for the suggestion but that’s way too big! But if someone else comes across this thread looking for a larger mini fridge (lol oxymoron) then at least they have a recommendation!

Hey, I have a (weird?) question…What are you supposed to put in these fridges? Like…water? Milk for breakfast? I’m gonna be in a tiny dorm room with no kitchen on the floor so…

Is there a kitchen in the building anywhere? My roommate and I freshman year had fruit and pop and water, sometimes milk, and sometimes cookie dough.

Doesn’t look like it has a kitchen, idk, I’ve only checked out the building once. But okay, yeah, the fruit makes sense. I’ll probably talk to my roomie about getting one for water and fresh fruit.

I didn’t have any kind of a kitchen last year. I kept water, milk, juice, fruits and veggies, butter, bagels, bread, hot dogs, condiments, ice cream, and a couple frozen dinners.

You can boil water in a rice cooker so I did a decent amount of cooking between that and my microwave.

Conclusion: found a great Emerson fridge (the one with the dry erase front) that more or less fit the dimensions at a fantastic price of $89. The Emersons have had really solid reviews (on target.com) except for dents as a result of shipping.
