<p>we are only allowed to bring 2.5 cu ft refrigerators, but none that come in that size have a separate freezer. I found one that was 3 cu ft... is that okay? there is another refrigerator thread and people in there said that it was okay to bring larger ones (4 cu ft even) since no one ever checks and 2.5 is not big enough, but that thread was from 2006. Is that policy stricter now, or is it still okay for me to bring a 3 cu ft fridge?</p>
<p>Nobody checks. Most people have 3.5-3.7 cu. ft. fridges… my RA had a 4.6</p>

<p>In four years I never saw anyone with a microwave in their room. Unlike the fridge I think a microwave sticks out and you might get called on it (everyone has a fridge and no one cares about its dimensions…no one has a microwave so it will get noticed).</p>
