I was wondering how hard it is to get accepted to UF in the regular deicsion II period if you list that you want to do Summer B term. I go to a private school and I have low test scores, thus I am retaking the SAT this month for their reg decicion 2 deadline....I am a minority, I have 10 APs and I have a 4.1 GPA, and I have done track for 2 years by the way lol. So is it hard to get into this period even if you list summer B as your term?

??? help please

Rumors tell me that RDII is EXTREMELY hard to get into. Since there are so few spots left, and people are still applying you need spectacular stats to get accepted. UF is now he NCAA and BCS champions, and that affects the admissions alot! So many people realize how great UF is, and now there are tons of over qualified OOS students. If your SAT scores are low, I really doubt you'll have a great chance of getting in. What are your SAT scores anyways? Im thinking if you have atleast a 1300...you have a chance at RDII.

The winning sports teams will most likely effect NEXT year's admissions numbers simply because after the championship in football, there wasn't much time to apply, as the RD1 decision comes out in most likely two weeks, and I would guess most people who are qualified for UF have had their college list done for atleast two months. Someone made a post about UF commenting on these wins as effecting NEXT year's admissions. So that won't effect this guys chances as much.

I have heard the same rumor however about the difficulty of RDII. I was told that RDII was a last ditch effort to fill any remaining spots in the class, so it is very competetive as their isn't a fixed number set aside for RDII.

This is all what I've heard so take it for what it's worth.
