<p>You might not want to send the scores in, but do mention that you are an AP scholar. I don’t think Rice will take anything below a 4 anyway, but I’m not entirely sure.</p>
<p>You generally don’t send official AP scores when applying to colleges because it gets so pricey and they don’t really care about the official report unless you decide to go there. </p>
<p>However, in regards to telling them about the AP scores (self-reporting), it’s your call. Technically 3’s are still passing, though they probably don’t get credit. Something else to consider is that if you don’t say your scores, they may assume that you didn’t take the tests, which doesn’t look so great.</p>
