Regarding CLEP Credit Towards SDSU

Hi everyone!

I've been emailing the admissions team back and forth on which CLEP exams they accept and they sent me http://arweb.sdsu.edu/es/catalog/2011-2012/parts/part6.pdf. The list of CLEP tests on that link is on page 466. The first person I talked to on the phone said they accept all the CLEP tests on that page, and if you look you can see that under the columns of "SDSU Course Equivalency" and "General Education Credit" you can see that for some tests they're both "no's". The second person I just talked to said that the CLEPs with both "no's" probably meant that they don't accept those CLEPs as transfer credits at all (she never heard of CLEP tests before this).

So my question is do any of you think the second person is right and if so I can only get about 30 credits tops (maybe less?) just from these CLEPs? I was hoping to get the full amount of 60 so I can speed up the general education and intro classes and be able to transfer over there as quick as possible...

I've only taken the Intro to Sociology test and passed that one (3 credits) but I'd love to hear your guys' opinions before I go any further.

So if you would be kind enough to open up that link and give me your opinions of what you think that would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks a lot in advance!!!
