Hey CC; I'm applying for transfer, and I've already secured an academic evaluation from one of my teachers. None of my schools require more than one academic evaluation, but all of them allow more. Would it be appropriate to invite private instructors/other people who know me better than my college teachers, since I already have a college instructor's recommendation?

It’s OK to send 1 supplemental LOR if permitted by the school. Any supplemental LOR should be both very strong and address elements about you that the instructor LOR does not.

Thank you Entomom. What about schools that don’t require an academic evaluation at all? Can I just assign, say, my private voice teacher as a recommender?
