Regarding SAT Subject Tests

I am an international student and I'm going to do the SAT in less than a months time and the ACT (only once) a few days afterwards. My last SAT test opportunity is Jan 28th, which is very late, but considering that the universities will still receive the test result..

Question, should I use that opportunity (on Jan 28th) to do SAT Subject Tests? Or is the SAT Subject Tests not acquired if I send in the ACT test? Otherwise I could use that opportunity to retake the SAT Test, if I feel I should.

Thankful for any information regarding sat subject tests vs. act + sat tests

Go here for a list of colleges that require, recommend or consider SAT IIs. In the required column you will see a number listed, 2, for colleges that require them. If the 2 in the required column has an * next to it it means the college accepts the ACT in lieu of both the SAT and SAT IIs; if there is no * next to the 2 it means the college requires SAT IIs even if you submit ACT: [Compass: Admissions Requirements](<a href=“SAT Subject Test Requirements and Recommendations - Compass Education Group”>SAT Subject Test Requirements and Recommendations - Compass Education Group)

Okay, thank you. Does this list include ALL the universities that desire subject tests, or is it only a few of them that are listed?

Thank you.

It lists all universities that require SAT IIs of which there are actually only 30 in the US. For those that “recommend” IIs it is usually a good idea to have them. Some parts need updating: Brandeis no longer requires IIs, Michigan now “considers” SAT IIs.

Thank you, drusba, for your input! This helps.
